Connecting for impact: Deloitte’s GPS practice committed to small business success
Deloitte’s Government and Public Services (GPS) practice recognizes that our work with small and diverse businesses helps strengthen our communities and supports economic growth. These important connections enable the delivery of critical technology and professional services to our clients.
The GPS Office of Small Business and Supplier Diversity Programs (OSSDP) was established to build strategic and collaborative relationships with small businesses, veteran-owned businesses and minority-owned businesses, as well as to increase our engagement with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs).
In FY2021, more than 52% of Deloitte’s GPS prime contracts were supported by small businesses. We are committed to strengthening—and increasing—these small business relationships and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion across our GPS practice.
In 2021, Deloitte’s US firm pledged to invest $1 billion in diverse suppliers, including $200 million in Black-owned suppliers, by 2025.
