Anesh Mehta

Anesh is the National Practice Leader for Deloitte Tax’s Multistate Credits & Incentives practice. He is based in our Costa Mesa office and has more than 20 years experience working in state and local taxation with a majority of that time focused on providing multistate tax services and C&I consulting for both public and private companies.

He specializes in credits and incentives, focusing on identifying and securing negotiated incentives (i.e. cash grants, financing assistance and tax abatements, etc.) for his clients. He also has assisted his clients with identifying and capturing statutory credits, including Federal WOTC credits as well as other state based programs including investment tax credits and job credits. Anesh also teams with his clients to identify other indirect tax opportunities, including, but not limited to, sales/use tax and employment tax refund opportunities.

Anesh has a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and a M.B.A. with a specialization in Entrepreneurship and Finance from the University of Southern California.
