Ankit Patel

Ankit is a Business Tax Services partner in our Dallas office with more than 15 years of experience as a certified public accountant. His experience includes accounting for income tax (ASC 740), compliance assistance, and tax consulting services in various Deloitte Tax offices including Dallas, Chicago, and New York City. Ankit’s focus is on a wide range of multinational corporations and has served a variety of industries during his career.

Ankit’s primary industry focus is on the Retail, Wholesale & Distribution (“RWD”) industry where he currently is the National Retail, Wholesale & Distribution Tax Leader and previously was a Deloitte National Retail, Wholesale, & Distribution Sector Fellow. Within his RWD Tax Leader role, Ankit leads cross functional efforts to implement sector strategy through client service, key pursuit support, eminence building, and thought leadership.

Further, Ankit is currently the Dallas BTS Intern and Learning & Development Champion and previously served as a Financial Reporting for Taxes (ASC740) Local Office Competency Champion for Chicago.

Ankit has a Masters of Accountancy and Specialization in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science Degree Accountancy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
