Arindam Mitra

Arin primarily focuses on complex business model optimization engagements dealing with intercompany transactions involving intellectual property, and management, functional, and supply chain rationalizations. Arin is currently engaged in developing and applying innovative financial considerations for analyzing corporate value chains consistent with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development’s base erosion and profit shifting guidance. He has successfully resolved several large transfer pricing controversies and has navigated over 40 bilateral advance pricing agreements involving the United States, Japan, Canada, Australia, and India. He serves some of Deloitte’s largest clients and has previously worked in Deloitte’s offices in Sydney, Tokyo, and Los Angeles.

His articles on these topics have appeared in noted tax publications, including Tax Notes International and Transfer Pricing International. He has been recognized by Euromoney and International Tax Review as a leading transfer pricing advisor for a number of years.

Arin holds a PhD in economics from Brown University and is a chartered accountant.
