Beth Meagher
Federal Strategy Leader | Deloitte Consulting LLP
Beth is a principal in Deloitte Consulting, based in Washington, DC. She is the federal life sciences lead, the lead client services partner for the National Institutes of Health, and the lead for the health nonprofit sector.
She has more than 20 years of deep experience serving a variety of clients and has significant experience in strategy, innovation, growth, public-private partnerships, strategic planning, stakeholder management, change management, executive leadership, and communication strategies. She is skilled in sustainability strategy development and is sought after for her experience creating and developing high achieving teams.
As a lead client service partner, she has a strong working knowledge of the many issues public and private companies face, including growth, digital strategy, innovation strategy, and transformation challenges. She has numerous and varied clients including the National Institutes of Health, US Food & Drug Administration, Michael J. Fox Foundation, Google, Amazon, American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, Moffitt Cancer Center, and Crohn & Colitis Foundation..
Prior to her current position, Beth held numerous other leadership roles in Deloitte Consulting. She led the Monitor Deloitte Strategy practice through post-acquisition and implemented its successful growth strategy. Beth also founded and led the translational research practice. She spearheaded Deloitte’s Cancer Moonshot efforts and the team’s Cancer XPRIZE initiative.
Beth has a strong commitment to her local community and is heavily involved in work focused on giving back to that community. One of the ways she does this is through leading Deloitte’s numerous pro-bono projects at The Children’s Inn, including delivering an IT strategic plan, creating a family program evaluation and developing a customer journey mapping experience. In addition to those programs, Beth works with Deloitte leadership to sponsor and support fundraising events at The Children’s Inn. She encourages volunteering efforts by all account team members, which has resulted in the Deloitte team hosting 10 Thoughtful Treasure Workshops, serving five family dinners, and gathering a team of 30 volunteers on an annual basis for a day of service. In addition to her support of The Children’s Inn, Beth also serves on the BioHealth Innovation, Inc. board.
Beth holds an MA in Organizational Management, Policy Studies from The George Washington University and a BA in Entrepreneurial Studies & Communications Studies from Muhlenberg College. She and her husband, Jamie, happily live in DC with their daughter, son, and the family dog.
