Brian Pinto

Brian has over 30 years of experience advising U.S. multinationals on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, financing arrangements, foreign tax credit utilization, operational tax optimization, and offshore treasury optimization. As a Partner in the International Tax and Transfer Pricing Services practice of Deloitte Tax LLP, Brian serves as the Global Lead Client Service Partner and Global Lead Tax Partner on some of Deloitte’s largest clients. He also serves as the Global Leader for M&A Tax and Legal.

During his time at Deloitte, Brian has held multiple roles in support of the firm and its clients, including: National Industry Leader - Tax, Technology, Media & Telecommunications; Global Business Change Storefront Leader covering M&A, Post-Merger Integration, and Value Chain Alignment; Central Region Managing Partner for International Tax & Transfer Pricing Services; National Operations Leader for International Tax & Transfer Pricing; and as part of Deloitte’s Office of the CEO Programs.

Brian is passionate about client service and supporting the success of his partners and people. This has resulted in him being consistently included as a leading tax professional in the Guide to the World’s Leading Tax Advisers. He’s also a champion of Deloitte’s initiatives around diversity, equity, and inclusion, where he has increased the focus on the acquisition, development, and retention of women and diverse talent.

An alumni of Texas A&M University, Brian is now the Advisory University Relations Partner for the school. He teams with the administration, faculty, and students to support the university’s success and Deloitte’s impact across its campus. He’s a frequent guest lecturer at Texas A&M University and a regular presenter at Deloitte International Tax seminars and client conferences.
