Chris Mauthe

Chris currently serves as the Senior Partner in the US Tax practice. In addition, Chris is the Managing Partner of Global. In this capacity, he is responsible for Global Tax matters and interactions with the Deloitte global network.

Previously, Chris was the Chief Clients and Markets Officer for Deloitte’s U.S. Tax Practice from 2016-2022. In this role, he had overall responsibility for all marketplace activities which includes the development and dissemination of marketplace offerings and new solutions to the client base of Deloitte Tax.

In this role, Chris also maintained overall responsibility for all of the National Service Lines within Deloitte Tax including International Tax, Transfer Pricing, Mergers and Acquisitions, Multistate Tax Services, Tax Management Consulting and Global Employment Services.
Prior to becoming the Chief Clients and Markets Officer for Deloitte Tax, Chris served as the Managing Partner of the NY Tax practice from 2013 through 2016.

Chris also spends a substantial amount of my time serving many of Deloitte's most complex clients. More specifically, he serves as the U.S. Lead Tax Partner on Iberdrola USA and Siemens Corporation. Over the years, he has served many Fortune 500 companies across a variety of industries.

Chris has been with Deloitte Tax over 25 years, 21 years of which he has been a partner in the firm. He maintains his office at 30 Rockefeller Center in NYC.
