David Charlton

David is the US leader of Deloitte Tax’s Global Information Reporting (GIR) practice. David is a principal in Deloitte Tax’s Global Information Reporting (GIR) practice with more than 20 years of experience leading regulatory-based tax, risk, and data management projects in the financial services industry.

He leads several significant automatic exchange of information (AEOI) filing engagements in the banking and asset management sectors. Additionally, he has played a substantial role in the development of enterprise solutions and technologies that enable clients to scale effectively to meet their growing GIR obligations and challenges.
