Dan Berner

Dan is managing partner for the North Texas marketplace and is active with several North Texas clients and community leadership roles.

He most recently served as group partner-in-charge of the Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, and Kansas City Deloitte & Touche LLP Audit & Assurance practices. With more than 25 years of auditing and accounting experience, he primarily serves large, global, diversified public clients. He has led engagements for organizations in a variety of industries, with a focus on consumer products and retail. Dan has an extensive background in SEC matters, including Sarbanes-Oxley provisions. Over the past several years, he has served companies that are highly active in the capital markets. He has overseen a variety of significant transactions, including several initial public offerings, spin-off, and leveraged-buyout transactions.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri and a Master of Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a certified public accountant, licensed by the state of Texas.
