Erich is a principal with Deloitte Consulting LLP in the Automotive & Transportation and Strategy & Analytics practices. He has spent the past 25 years as a consultant and industry executive in the aerospace & defense, aviation, satellite telecommunications, automotive and manufacturing sectors. Erich spends much of his time working with senior executives defining or refining their strategies and translating these into practical transformation programs. His focus areas include corporate and market strategy, large-scale transformation, digital transformation, M&A, post-merger integration, and new business building. As a former scientist he has a strong affinity for integrating business objectives with engineering and technology considerations for companies in disruptive environments. Erich holds a PhD in Planetary Sciences and has appeared in the Economist, National Defense, Federal News Network and Science.
