Eric Fox

As Vice Chair and US Investment Management Sector Leader, Eric is responsible for leading our team of professionals serving that sector as well as the overall sector strategy and offerings.

Eric is a tax principal of Deloitte Tax LLP. He provides clients with a full suite of tax services and guidance on navigating the complexities of local, state, US. federal and international tax rules.

Previously, Eric served as the Investment Management leader for Deloitte Tax LLP. He has also served as the East Region Tax Sector Leader for the Hedge Fund practice. Prior to rejoining the firm in 2012 as a principal, Eric was a director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he sat on the equity trading floor in New York as a US tax specialist for Merrill’s traders and institutional clients.

Prior to Merrill, Eric was a managing director in the Bear Stearns tax department, where he served as a tax adviser to the equity and fixed income sales and trading, prime brokerage, and asset management business units. Eric graduated from Southern Connecticut State University and received his JD law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law and a Master of law degree from NYU School of Law. He is a member of the New York State and Connecticut Bar.
