Eric Fox

Eric serves as Deloitte’s national Investment Management Tax leader. Eric is a tax attorney, providing Deloitte’s full suite of tax services to hedge funds and private equity funds which includes guidance on maneuvering among local, state, U.S. federal and international tax rules. Eric most recently served as the East Region Tax Sector Leader for the Hedge Fund practice. Prior to rejoining the firm in 2012 as a principal, Eric was a director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he sat on the equity trading floor in New York as a US tax specialist for the firm’s traders and institutional clients. Prior to Merrill, Eric was a managing director in the Bear Stearns tax department, where he served as a tax adviser to the equity and fixed income sales and trading, prime brokerage, and asset management business units.
