Jane M. Searing

Jane is a managing director in Deloitte Tax's Private Wealth practice, specializing in tax-exempt organizations, private foundations, and philanthropic planning. She focuses on helping family offices and ultra–high–net worth individuals execute their philanthropic vision.

She is creating a Center for Excellence in Philanthropy offering by delivering high-value compliance and advisory services, assisting clients with their complex philanthropic strategies, implementing innovative tools, and developing highly motivated, nationally recognized talent within the firm.

Jane is a luminary in the area of exempt organization taxation, frequently speaking and writing on technical issues. She is a certified public accountant in Washington and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Jane earned a BA in business administration-accounting from the University of Washington and an MS in taxation at Golden Gate University.
