John Franco

John has extensive experience with partnership tax matters, and he advises on transaction planning, structuring, due diligence, deal modeling, and reporting and disclosure issues for clients in many different industries, with a focus on private equity and real estate transactions.

John is currently the Deloitte member of the AICPA Partnership Technical Resource Panel, and he has spoken at various internal and external events on partnership tax technical issues and planning considerations. He also has assisted with developing and drafting various tax technical positions in comment letters for the AICPA and ABA on partnership tax issues and regulations.

John is a licensed CPA in California and Washington, DC. He received his BA in Business Economics with a minor in Accounting from UCLA (summa cum laude) and his MBT from University of Southern California.
