John Katzer

John is an Audit & Assurance managing director with Deloitte & Touche LLP and is responsible for developing and executing internal strategies for delivering a differentiated client experience. He helped create and launch Deloitte's Audit Transition Lab program, which helps clients during their onboarding process, and the Audit Elevate Lab program, an immersive and collaborative experience for clients.

John has more than 20 years of experience and began his career within the Audit & Assurance business primarily serving clients in the Power & Utilities and Insurance industries. He has held roles in Deloitte's National Office, where he focused on monitoring and interpreting activity of the various auditing and accounting standard setting bodies, and has facilitated multiple national audit training programs.

John holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting and a Master's in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Kansas. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a registered CPA in Missouri and Colorado. John is based out of the Denver office.
