Josh Sawislak

Josh is an internationally recognized advisor on climate and disaster resilience and sustainable development, having served senior positions in 3 different Presidential administrations as well as a corporate executive and consultant. He is a frequent international speaker and writer on the development, funding, and policy for sustainable and resilient infrastructure in the US and globally, holds appointments with several universities and NGO, and serves as a Review Editor of the Fifth National Climate Assessment. His expertise includes decarbonizing the built environment and continuity planning and disaster risk reduction and recovery for communities and the private sector. As a Managing Director at Deloitte Consulting LLP, he helps lead an effort providing best-in-class sustainability and climate adaptation support to clients across the Firm. Josh has broad experience on both the public and private sector sides of infrastructure development, climate adaptation and risk management.
