Jeff Schwartz

Jeff has 30 years of experience providing audit and assurance services to large multinational companies, who are headquartered in both the United States and abroad, and across a variety of industries. His deep experience advising clients on internal controls and processes has allowed those clients to strengthen their ability to gather quality data and apply that experience to their ESG disclosures.

Jeff is a leader in Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance Sustainability and environmental, social and governance (ESG) Services group. His years of experience working with company’s financial statements and internal controls, combined with his deep knowledge in ESG, give Jeff a differentiated perspective as the ESG disclosure landscape continues to rapidly evolve, particularly related to climate disclosures in the financial statements. He has led several of the organization’s ESG projects and spends a great amount of his time presenting to Boards of Directors and C-suite executives on the topic of evolving regulations, ESG disclosures, and other climate disclosure topics. His clients appreciate his responsiveness and transparent and honest approach, which helps to minimize surprises and to efficiently address any potential issues that are identified.

Jeff previously served as a leader in Deloitte’s Office of the CEO. In this role, he worked with organization leadership on strategic matters to ensure that Deloitte’s client service teams had the appropriate resources. His experience in Deloitte’s National Office exposed him to strategic collaborators within the organization who have helped expedite matters when needed.
