Ken Jewell

Ken specializes in the state tax implications of corporate mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings and various business models and contractual relationships. He is also the co-leader of Deloitte’s New York Tax Desk program where he advises clients on the proper application of New York tax laws and represents clients in New York controversy matters.

He is a frequent speaker at multistate tax conferences, including those organized by the Council on State Taxation, Tax Executives Institute, and Institute for Professionals in Taxation, and at The Multistate Tax Symposium. He is co-author of the Bloomberg BNA "State Navigator New York State Corporation Incomes Taxes."

Ken holds a BA from University of Hartford and a JD from DePaul College of Law, where he was editor-in-chief of the DePaul Business and Commercial Law Journal. He also has an LLM in taxation from Boston University School of Law, where he was a student editor for the Boston University Journal of Tax Law.
