Kerwin Chung is a Tax principal in Deloitte Tax LLP’s Greater Washington DC - Transfer Pricing Team, and leader of the firm’s National Advance Pricing Agreement (APA) and Mutual Agreement Procedure (MAP) Group. Kerwin has more than 29 years of transfer pricing experience, specializing in representing clients in APA, MAP, planning, and examination matters with tax authorities in the Americas, Europe and Asia. His clients include US - and foreign-based multinationals in the following industries: apparel, automotive, biotech, chemicals, consumer products, computers, electronics, energy, financial services, food and beverage, gaming, industrial machinery, internet, IT services, logistics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, professional services, publishing, retail, semiconductors, software, telecommunications, toys, transportation and travel.
Kerwin has been included in Euromoney’s Guide to the World’s Leading Transfer Pricing Advisers since 2002 and in International Tax Review’s Tax Controversy Leaders since 2015. He is an active member of the American Bar Association Tax Section Transfer Pricing Committee, having moderated a panel on transfer pricing down economy issues in 2009 and presented on a panel discussing the IRS APA program in 2011.
Kerwin holds a BBA in accounting and real estate from University of Hawaii and a JD cum laude from Harvard Law School.
