As San Francisco managing principal with Deloitte & Touche LLP, Kirsten strategically positions Deloitte in the San Francisco marketplace by driving business growth and facilitating a multi-disciplinary approach to serving clients. She also leads corporate citizenship strategy and finds great satisfaction in creating and modeling an inclusive culture. With a specialty in strategic transformation, growth strategy, and global partnerships, she continues to maintain her client leadership roles in the technology industry—and is excited to be working with other Deloitte clients—bringing the breadth and depth of Deloitte to offer creative approaches and innovative solutions to complex business issues.
She also has a passion for inclusivity and advocacy for women as a previous lead in Deloitte’s Inclusion (Diversity and Wellness) initiatives for the West Region and still speaks on the topics of leadership, inclusion and unconscious bias, having recently led discussions at Stanford’s Clayman Institute for Gender Research, Forte’, Watermark, Wilpower, and the California Diversity Conference. She has consulted to many Fortune 500 companies how to build, innovate and measure success on their respective Diversity and Inclusion, including Women’s Initiatives.
Kirsten has spent her more than 26-year career in the Bay Area and has built a significant network of senior executives and board directors. She has strong ties to the local community and served as a board director for the Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose for a decade. Living in the Bay Area with her husband and son, it is important to her that she maintains strong ties to the community and consistently gives back.
