Liliana is a Principal in Deloitte Consulting LLP and serves as Purpose & Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) leader. In this role, she is responsible for integrating Purpose and DEI into the practice’s core business and throughout the organization’s talent experience to generate both business and social value. A firm believer that Purpose and DEI go hand in hand with business success, she partners with clients and teams to drive purposeful impact for the practice’s clients and in its broader ecosystems, and pragmatically advancing DEI—bringing a systemic view of interventions and impact opportunities.
She previously served as financial services leader for Deloitte Consulting LLP, where she focused on client experience, operational scalability, and business agility. She has extensive global experience, having worked on and led projects in the US, Europe, Latin America, Australia, and Asia. She has previously served large banks, investment managers, global insurance companies, and international development organizations, as well as two technology start-ups serving the financial services sector.
Born and raised in Romania, she discovered her passion for financial services by seeing first-hand the impact of financial systems, capital inflows, and emerging entrepreneurship on prosperity in society. She has an undergraduate degree in Finance, an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, and a PhD in decision sciences (system dynamics).
