Matt Hoffman

Matt is an audit partner in Deloitte’s Investment Management group and has more than 20 years of experience within the investment management arena in both private and public firms, working with closed and open-end mutual funds as well as alternative funds which include fund of funds, hedge funds, private equity, master feeder structures, on-shore and off-shore partnership. Matt also works with investment advisors, and corporations in the investment management industry and has led several SSAE 18 engagements for investment advisors and their related service providers.

Matt is active in the industry and leads the Pacific Southwest Financial Services group. He has spoken at asset management industry seminars in the California marketplace during the past several years. Matt has also provided accounting and regulatory guidance to practitioners throughout Deloitte’s investment management practice serving as an engagement quality concurring reviewer for several fund complexes including Business Development Companies and is a subject matter resource for alternative investments.
