Natalie J. Cooper
Managing Director | Deloitte LLP
Natalie serves as the managing director for Deloitte University (DU). This role has been a homecoming. Not only was she the first Talent and Experience leader for DU when it first opened in 2011, but she was raised close by and now lives just miles away from the 225-acre campus.
Natalie joined Deloitte Consulting after earning an Industrial Engineering degree from Texas A&M University. She focused on process improvement, project management, training design and delivery, change management, revenue cycle management and supply chain optimization. It is here that she nurtured a passion for problem solving and bringing unique, differentiated solutions to our clients.
It did not take long for Natalie to find that working with talent, focusing on performance management and development, brought her the most satisfaction. Serving in multiple roles supporting Deloitte Consulting, she honed her skills designing and delivering milestone learning programs, as well as managing HR teams.
It is this passion for developing our people that landed her key roles in the then-new Deloitte University. She served as the first DU Talent Leader and then expanded into leading guest experience as well. Over her tenure at DU, Natalie also collaborated with our key vendors on strategic priorities, led client visits and events, and led the development of community impact programs. Throughout this time, Natalie was one of the most visible and impactful DU brand ambassadors.
Recently, Natalie served as the PPMD Talent Leader for Client & Market Growth (CMG), responsible for leading performance management strategies, as well as collaborating across businesses and industries to lead partner performance management and successions. Natalie’s ability to connect with senior stakeholders, understand their challenges, and harness the followership and energy of our people to help solve complex problems is recognized and respected throughout Deloitte.
She now brings that passion for developing people back to DU. It is the ideal place for Natalie to help make an impact that matters as she brings her career-long focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion and well-being to Deloitte’s cultural home.
Natalie lives in Southlake, Texas with her husband and their 3 children and enjoys travel, fitness, and hours of watching youth sports.
