Pete Fritz is a Principal with Deloitte’s Higher Education practice. As Deloitte’s national leader of Higher Education Analytics, Pete helps institutions develop, deploy, and maintain the capabilities to effectively assess stakeholders’ needs, evaluate organizational performance, and translate analytical insights into meaningful strategic and operational improvements to help further their tripartite missions. He also assists universities and colleges to define institutional strategy, manage the ‘prospect to alumni’ student lifecycle, and modernize administrative functions to most effectively support institutional missions.
Pete has worked with a variety of institutions throughout his career in higher education, including public and private institutions of various sizes and levels of selectivity. He has consistently identified realistic and achievable opportunities for improvement and worked with client partners to build the broad stakeholder buy-in needed in the higher education sector. He finds the challenge of balancing the often-competing priorities of universities—academics, research, service—in a rapidly changing environment to be a constant source of personal and professional enjoyment.
Pete received a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College and received an MBA and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan. He lives outside of Philly with his wife, Jane, and his sons, Henry, Stanley, and George.
