Steven Rogers is a Managing Director within Deloitte’ Consulting LLP’s Architecture Practice. Leveraging the insights he has gained since 1995, he uses his experience to navigate complex industry landscapes. His consulting experience spans across a plethora of sectors such as manufacturing, insurance, financial services, pharmaceuticals, rail, automotive, and utilities, including gas, water, and electric.
Notably, Steve has made significant strides in the Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) domain. His roles have encompassed program delivery leadership, solution architecting, architecture workstream leadership, Test Performance Improvement analysis, strategic consulting, and operations design analysis. Among his accomplishments, he headed the technical team for an AMI 1.0 to AMI 2.0 transition strategy for a California Investor-Owned Utility (IOU) with a portfolio exceeding 5 million meters. Furthermore, he crafted a compelling AMI business case for a California Water Utility. To date, Steve has supervised the deployment of over 12 million AMI meters in various projects, underscoring his proficiency and leadership in this sector.
Steve recently authored a whitepaper outlining how electric utilities and their customers can attain decarbonization objectives using AMI 2.0 meters, highlighting his commitment to sustainable and efficient energy practices.
