Trevor Barton

Trevor is the managing partner for Quality, Risk & Regulatory at Deloitte & Touche LLP with over 30 years of experience in public accounting. In this role, he leads Deloitte’s Professional Practice Network, including the auditing, accounting, financial reporting, risk management and regulatory functions. Trevor leads a team of over 350 partners and professionals with responsibility for setting Deloitte’s policies and methodology relating to complex accounting, financial reporting, auditing, and risk matters; interfacing with regulators and other stakeholders; and addressing global Deloitte network quality matters. Trevor is also a member of Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance Executive Leadership Team.

Previously, Trevor was the Senior National Professional Practice Director for the Central and East regions. In this capacity, he was responsible for the oversight of audit quality, risk management, and technical accounting and auditing matters across all industries.

Trevor routinely works with clients on their most complex accounting, reporting, and auditing matters. He has served a wide variety of domestic and multinational public clients within the energy, transportation, consumer products, manufacturing, and technology industries.

Trevor earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of South Dakota. He is a licensed CPA in Nebraska.
