Can you share the most interesting part of your career journey?
The most interesting part of my career has been dealing with a wide variety of clients and data sets throughout the years. Every day is a new challenge, and the exposure to business problems across several industries certainly keeps me on my toes.
The AI landscape is evolving at a rapid pace, and keeping up with it is an exciting journey in itself.
The knowledge I have gained from collaborating with my colleagues on these engagements has certainly helped me upskill.
What excites you most about working with data and AI?
Working with data and AI on a daily basis, I have learned that it is not enough to just solve a problem; solving it in the most efficient way is key. This presents itself as a learning opportunity throughout my career; even if I’m using a technique that I’m very familiar with, it differs from one data set to another, and that makes tackling every new business problem more exciting.

Describe an interesting project that you have worked on.
I recently had the opportunity to work on a project for the government to maximize the COVID-19 relief federal funding that their expenses would be eligible for.
We built a Python script to optimally allocate expenses to the available federal grants that were the best matches for them. We also built a Tableau dashboard that would display alternate funding sources and provided insights about cash flow, expense reimbursements, and funding availability.
This project holds great significance to me, as it was not only technically challenging, but also gave me a new perspective pertaining to crisis and emergency management.
