Christine Davine

Christine is an Audit & Assurance (A&A) partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP, and the managing partner of Deloitte’s Center for Board Effectiveness, helping empower directors, aspiring directors, and executives who interface with the board to deliver value to the organizations that they serve. Christine is also vice chair of Regulatory for Deloitte’s A&A business, engaging in regulatory and standard setting activities.
Previously, Christine was the managing partner of Quality, Risk & Regulatory for the A&A business. In this role, she led the Professional Practice Network, including the auditing, accounting, financial reporting, and risk management functions. Christine led a team of approximately 400 partners and professionals with responsibility for setting Deloitte’s policies and methodology for dealing with complex accounting, financial reporting, auditing, and risk matters; interfacing with regulators and other stakeholders; and collaborating on global quality matters.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Christine spent 8 years with the Securities and Exchange Commission in the Division of Corporation Finance and was an associate chief accountant in the division’s Office of the Chief Accountant. She is a frequent speaker on current and emerging audit, accounting, and financial reporting topics.
