Chih-Wei is a Principal in Deloitte’s Government and Public Services industry practice with more than 20 years of experience supporting federal health agencies in identifying and mitigating risk across information technology, cybersecurity, and regulatory and audit findings. Chih-Wei currently serves as the Federal Health Sector leader and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) business leader for Deloitte’s Risk and Financial Advisory business.
Chih-Wei's experience has spanned federal and state government and life sciences and healthcare industries, and has included supporting his clients in cyber risk, information technology, and system integration. His client relationships, including over 10 years working with the VA, have focused on developing new perspectives and solutions to help his clients continue to fulfill their public health missions through periods of rapid technological evolution. Chih-Wei's expertise in business, technology, and governance solutions have helped his clients address their most complex challenges in a landscape of ever-changing risk.
Prior to working at Deloitte, Chih-Wei worked in industry as a system engineer and solution architect for The MITRE Corporation, Northrop Grumman, and Iditarod Systems. Chih-Wei holds a Master of Science in Systems and Information Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Virginia. He lives in the Washington DC metropolitan area with his wife and two children.
