David Levine

David advises US- and foreign-based multinationals and investment funds on a wide range of international tax matters, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, real estate investments, and financing transactions. David joined Deloitte Tax LLP from the IRS Office of Associate Chief Counsel (International), where he was an Attorney-Advisor in Branch 4. He was one of the principal authors of a number of regulations and notices regarding corporate inversion transactions. Prior to joining the IRS, David worked as an associate at two large law firms in New York.

David regularly speaks at tax conferences for organizations such as he American Bar Association, Tax Executives Institute, and the International Fiscal Association.

David received his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law and is a licensed member of the New York Bar.
