Emily is a Partner with Deloitte Tax and leader of the firm’s US Operations Transformation for Tax practice.

With over 20 years of experience in tax consulting, strategic process design, and practical approaches to tax transformation, Emily is known for designing and delivering tax solutions that allow her clients to confidently and successfully reinvent their operating models, by varying the elements of data management, technology, and outsourcing services to intensify value, manage risk, and increase efficiency in tax operations.

Emily’s experience includes developing and executing multi-dimensional tax transformation plans, leading large-scale multi-system projects to automate tax leading practices, and implementing global tax technology solutions including robotics and data management platforms, to support the tax department of the future.

Emily also co-led the creation of the Deloitte Tax Lab Experience, and has facilitated these highly interactive sessions with many global teams across a variety of jurisdictions. The lab experience helps tax executive teams focus, prioritize and mobilize toward their department’s optimal future state, serving as a proven accelerator to transformation. Emily is a regular speaker and author on tax transformation topics across Deloitte’s tax, advisory and consulting businesses and at industry and client conferences.
