Eric Rubin

Eric Rubin is an audit partner who specializes in serving clients in the real estate, asset management, and specialty finance industries. Eric leads Deloitte’s US REIT practice and Deloitte’s Tri-state real estate audit practice. His more than 23 years of experience includes some of our largest US and global clients, and he has a strong background in SEC reporting and in leading our services related to a variety of large, complex transactions. He served as Deloitte’s US mortgage REIT leader, with responsibility for overseeing all audit and related services provided to sector clients across the country.

Prior to his current responsibilities in the audit practice, Eric worked for seven years in Deloitte’s Securitization Transactions group, where his experience included managing the process of cash flow structuring for CMBS (fixed/floating rate), CRE CDO transactions, and after-tax residuals, including payment waterfalls, prepayment and default scenarios, and yield maintenance penalty allocations.
