Gaurav serves as the US Risk & Financial Advisory Insurance leader with Deloitte & Touche LLP. In this capacity, he oversees the delivery of risk management services to insurance clients including cyber security, internal audit, controls, finance transformation, treasury, regulatory/compliance, data governance, and modernization.
Since joining Deloitte in 2002, Gaurav has served a mix of attest and relationship clients in the insurance industry. With more than 20 years of experience in insurance operations, risk and controls transformation, and cyber, he has a distinguished record in advising clients across Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)/ Model Audit Rule (MAR) compliance, actuarial, finance, cyber, data, and third-party risk management programs leveraging the full breadth of our Risk & Financial Advisory capabilities.
Gaurav has significant experience in standing up and scaling operate platforms at our clients in cyber, data, and controls.
He has been instrumental in leading Deloitte’s development, implementation, and subsequent commercialization of our marketplace efforts corresponding to the following risk frameworks: COSO 2013 internal controls, COSO ERM, and the AICPA’s SOC for Cyber.
