John Tomas

John is a managing director with Deloitte & Touche LLP, based in the Detroit office. John is the Michigan Accounting and Reporting Advisory service line leader. He has more than 15 years of audit and advisory experience serving multinational SEC entities and private clients, primarily in the automotive and software industries. John has significant experience with US GAAP, IFRS, SEC reporting, PCAOB standards, and SOX compliance. His areas of focus include business combinations, carve-out financial statements, revenue recognition, and employee benefits. He holds both a BA and MS in Accounting from Michigan State University.
