Jason Salzetti

Jason Salzetti leads the US Government and Public Services (GPS) Industry, which serves the Government at all levels, higher education institutions, and non-profit agencies across the US. This team works with some of the most unique clients in the world to shape the future of government, enhance trust among constituents, help organizations operate more efficiently, and innovatively deliver services to millions of people and their families.

Salzetti is a firm-first leader whose leadership philosophy is anchored in trust, transparency, and collaboration. He strongly believes in developing and enabling the people around him to better realize the collective potential of the GPS Industry and the important impact it has on its clients. Jason is also a member of Deloitte’s US board of directors.

With a Deloitte tenure of almost 30 years, Salzetti has a breadth of cross-functional and cross-industry client service leadership experience in the firm as a hands-on technology partner—most recently leading the state, local, and higher education industry sector of GPS. He started his career in Risk and Financial Advisory, moved into Consulting, and now works across both businesses leading GPS. For the past 12 years, he’s been immersed in mission-centric client work within GPS, leading large-scale digital transformation projects that help clients modernize their organizations. His recent client service roles include leading Deloitte’s relationship with one of Deloitte’s largest state government clients as well as one of the largest university systems in the United States.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in mathematics/applied science (finance) with a specialization in computing from UCLA, and a badge from Wharton’s Executive Education Program in Corporate Governance.
