Kate serves as the Vice Chair and US Transportation, Hospitality and Services (THS) Sector Leader. She has over 27 years of risk management consulting experience.
Kate is a principal of Deloitte & Touche LLP. She has held several industry roles including the US Consumer industry leader and the US Retail and Consumer Products sector leader for the Risk and Financial Advisory practice.
During her Deloitte career, Kate has coordinated teams and led projects including Internal Audit, Sarbanes Oxley 404 testing, IT security and controls design and implementation and several security and privacy initiatives to assist clients with regulatory matters. She has also been responsible for developing and leading multi-functional services at large, global consumer clients.
She is an active spokesperson on retail and consumer products matters. She has been featured on CNBC, NECN’s Business Program and The Boston Globe.
Kate received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Stonehill College and master’s in accounting information systems from Bentley University. She is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a regular speaker on topics ranging from IT risk management to women’s leadership and authenticity in the workplace.
