Khalid Shah

Khalid is an Audit & Assurance partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP, based in the New York office, leading growth in the Financial Services industry. He has 20 years of public accounting and regulatory experience, serving public and private companies. Khalid is the lead client service partner on clients across the capital markets, investment management and technology sectors. His experience also includes serving companies pursuing a public offering via SPAC transactions. He previously served in Deloitte’s National Office and led the Financial Services subject matter team.

He served as a consultation resource on auditing matters related to risk assessment, internal control and data analytics. Prior to re-joining Deloitte, Khalid was an Associate Chief Accountant within The Office of the Chief Accountant (OCA) at the US Securities and Exchange Commission. He holds a BBA from the University of Michigan, is a member of the AICPA and is a licensed CPA in Michigan, New York and Washington, DC.
