Nitish is a Deloitte & Touche LLP principal with Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory. He leads the Operational Risk Management Services group. He has more than 20 years of experience in capital markets and risk and regulatory consulting. Nitish’s primary focus is the delivery of large complex projects for clients in the financial services industry, specifically projects requiring review and transformation of risk operating models, risk and controls governance, and assessment and enhancement of operational risk management programs. Recently, Nitish has been assisting clients with the introduction of big data techniques and leveraging analytic and predictive models to deliver increased value to operational risk managers and their programs.
Nitish has performed several businesses and operational risk assessments, including strategic reviews of investment banks and specific products across risk culture and reputation, risk assessment, and internal controls. He has deep experience around sales, trading, and the review of global banks’ processes and controls to mitigate the risk of unauthorized trading. Nitish’s other operational risk engagements have included the assessment of policies and procedures for the management of various non-financial risk taxonomies.
