Deloitte Foundation Local Impact Grant Program
Investing in education
The Deloitte Foundation collaborates with Deloitte local leaders to identify and support select US education nonprofits and universities that help prepare future leaders for educational pathways and careers in business, technology, engineering, and other related fields.
Driving local impact
The Deloitte Foundation* is focused on helping to prepare the next generation of business leaders for the future of work. At a national level, the Foundation invests in students, educators, and schools and collaborates with academic institutions, and nonprofit organizations.
For a third year, the Deloitte Foundation issued local impact grants to programs in 30 select locations nationwide that help to prepare students and young adults for the future of work and careers in business, technology, engineering, and other related fields. More than 65 grants were made in each year to high school, college or other learning/early career pathway programs across the country working to prepare future business leaders through age 24.
These grants support many innovative programs across a number of educational needs, including:
- Curriculum to help students gain skills or credentials in business, technology, engineering and other related fields
- Supplemental learning experiences such as online or after school or summer enrichment programs
- Resources in the form of scholarships, mentorship, or college and workforce readiness support to help students and young adults continue on their educational journeys

Grant spotlights
Grant support for a university to provide scholarships to students who are pursuing majors in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management or Information Systems and Operations
Grant support for a program that enables young adults, who are not pursuing traditional college degrees but are looking for an entry point for careers in tech and business, to participate in an IT Fundamentals Education Program to earn computer certifications and gain valuable tech skills
Grant support for a bridge program which assists students transferring from a two-year community college program to a four-year university degree program in Business Administration by providing financial and other wrap-around support (i.e., math tutoring, study skills workshops, office visits to local businesses)
