Deloitte Receives High Performance Standards for Government and Public Services Work

Robust, independent appraisal underscores Deloitte’s strong quality management and delivery excellence processes

ARLINGTON, Va., Sept. 8, 2022 — For 15 consecutive years, Deloitte’s development work for federal, state and local government agencies has been assessed at Maturity Level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)®. In addition to the CMMI for Development ratings, Deloitte’s GPS operate practice has been rated at CMMI for Services Maturity Level 3 representing the process capability of its Application Management Services (AMS) Delivery Approach, and OperateEdgeTM service management tool. Deloitte’s advanced government services unit has achieved CMMI’s highest rating of Maturity Level 5.

An appraisal at Maturity Level 5 indicates that an organization is continually improving its processes based on a quantitative approach and understanding of its objectives and performance needs.

An appraisal at Maturity Level 3 indicates that an organization performs at a defined level — clearly understanding and characterizing its standards, procedures, tools and methods. These performance ratings were awarded following rigorous independent assessments; most recently by iPower LLC, a partner organization of the CMMI Institute, the global leader in the advancement of best practices in people, process and technology. The ratings underscore Deloitte’s ability to consistently and effectively deliver complex solutions for government clients at all levels.
