Bringing your leadership to the workplace
Over the years, Deloitte has maintained our commitment to making America stronger. We've introduced a more integrated, comprehensive approach that looks at military members and veterans more holistically (through both an emotional prosperity and career prosperity lens) and better aligns with military members' and veterans' needs.
Celebrating Deloitte’s military veterans
We value the skills and unique perspectives that our military veterans bring to Deloitte and thank them for their continued service at Deloitte and beyond.
Talent network
Deloitte is leading from the front with our commitment to military members, veterans, and their families. Join our Military Veterans talent network to see how we can help you bring your leadership to the workplace.
CORE
As part of the White House’s Joining Forces initiative, Deloitte pledged to double our veteran hiring numbers and continue our support of the federal government’s Transition Goals, Plans, Success (GPS) program. Our Career Opportunity Redefinition & Exploration (CORE) Leadership Program helps transitioning veterans translate their skills to a business environment, and our Deloitte Day Open Houses for Veterans offer veterans opportunities to learn valuable transition skills and network with current Deloitte professionals.
Military Spouse Initiative
Deloitte is committed to providing a workplace that attracts, supports, and retains military spouses. Through the Military Spouse Initiative, military spouses can lean on each other and utilize Deloitte resources to not just have a job, but have a career.
Warrior Games: Celebrating resilience
Deloitte is a proud sponsor of the Warrior Games, which showcase the resilient spirit of today’s wounded, ill, and injured service members from all branches of the military. After overcoming significant physical and emotional injuries, these men and women demonstrate the resilience of today’s force.
Deloitte’s commitment to the military, veterans, and their families spans our organization—we’re proud to serve those who have served our nation. We strive to be known as a best-in-class organization supporting service members as they transition from active duty to civilian life. Our holistic approach to transitional support encompasses employment, education, and physical health and recovery by collaborating with veteran-serving nonprofits in the US.
Junior Military Officer
Military leadership means producing exceptional results, often navigating under the most demanding conditions. Such performance translates well into a career at Deloitte, where our professionals diagnose complex problems and provide solutions to our clients’ most pressing business challenges across an array of disciplines.
We seek exceptional candidates. Baseline requirements for US junior military officers:
- Minimum 4-year college degree from any academic major
- Willingness to travel (required)
Joining Forces
As part of Deloitte’s commitment to hiring, former CEO Joe Echevarria and senior consultant and Army veteran Will Reynolds attended an event at the White House to announce that Deloitte has pledged support to Joining Forces, a national initiative that calls on businesses to provide service members and their families with the opportunities and support they have earned. As part of this commitment, Deloitte pledged to set a goal of doubling our veteran hiring numbers over the course of three years.
From army bugler to business professional
Ray Detwiler recently transitioned from the armed forces to help lead Deloitte’s efforts to support transitioning veterans. His experience at the CORE Leadership Program helped him do it.
Supporting veterans at Deloitte
As part of our hiring and retention efforts, Deloitte appoints veteran champions to help drive veteran hiring and retention through each of Deloitte’s businesses. Deloitte’s Armed Forces and Allies Business Resource Group (AFBRG), serves as a resource and network of Deloitte professionals who are prior, current, or retired members of the armed forces or their supporters.
