Deloitte-Intel alliance expands with Intel Granulate
Deloitte and Intel recently announced new plans to expand their strategic alliance and help enterprise clients better optimize cloud costs, secure workloads, and accelerate AI and software development by leveraging Intel’s software portfolio, including the Intel® Granulate™ solution.
Getting to know the Intel Granulate software solution
Intel’s Granulate is a runtime optimization software that uses artificial intelligence (AI) for real-time, workload optimization and support application architecture across data centers, multi-cloud, and hybrid-cloud environments.
Granulate has a unique ability to help users rewrite code to achieve performance improvements, which helps organizations avoid the costly, disruptive, and time-consuming pitfalls of traditional workload optimization. That also means more time for teams to focus on core product development and cloud spend optimization.
Optimize cloud spend at scale
Not long after acquiring Granulate in 2022, Intel engaged Deloitte to assess the software platform and identify new opportunities to integrate with existing Deloitte assets.
This exploration culminated in CloudBilling 360™, a Deloitte-built solution that enables enterprises to visualize, optimize, and control cloud spend at scale with minimal effort. The integration with Intel Granulate helps empower engineers to shift their focus towards greater innovation and cloud spend optimization by implementing FinOps practices and streamlining optimization through automation.
Expanded Intel alliance brings new benefits to hyperscalers
As Deloitte continues to advance its cloud engineering services in the age of Generative AI (GenAI), the collaborative offering provides even more benefits to clients—especially those in the hyperscale space. These benefits include:
- Maximizing application efficiency
- Improving cost performance
Opening up future opportunities to leverage Intel’s broader software portfolio (such as Intel’s cnvrg.io, Geti, Confidential Computing, and Trust Authority Independent Attestation solutions).
Finding synergy across the platform
Together, the Deloitte/Intel alliance will further combine the strengths of both organizations’ experience and leading practice tools to help clients solve a variety of challenges, such as:
