Building a more sustainable and equitable world
A growing imperative and how we can help
Across the public and private sectors, the climate crisis is disrupting the current way of conducting business.
Embracing new thinking, new ideas, and new actions is a matter of necessity.
Through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), CHIPS and Science Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), the public sector has an opportunity to advance the sustainability agenda.
Deloitte is proud to have a long-standing history supporting public sector clients across the federal, state, and local government to construct a more sustainable and equitable world.
Our team is composed of some of the leading voices in the sustainability, climate, and equity movement. We are former public servants, political appointees, and nonprofit leaders who understand the unique challenges the public sector faces in an ever-changing landscape. We are trusted advisers with decades of experience supporting leaders in the public sector on topics, including how government can utilize federal funds such as the IRA and IIJA to address the climate crisis through the decarbonization and energy transition.
We are excited to work with you to transform our communities and create a lasting impact for generations to come.

IRA Spotlight: HER and HEAR
IRA programs including Home Efficiency Rebates (HER) and Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR) programs provide significant opportunities for state energy offices (SEOs) to establish rebate programs that improve home efficiency.
We recognize that some SEOs managing this level of casework and/or implementing the eligibility verification required by these programs might necessitate some assistance. As such, Deloitte is proud to provide end-to-end support, from federal grants strategy to monitoring for impact as SEOs implement new home energy efficiency programs.
