State, Local, and Higher Education
We collaborate with state and local governments as well as college and university leaders to create and drive strategies for change to better serve key stakeholders.
IRA programs including Homeowners Managing Energy Savings (HOMES) and the Home Electrification and Appliance Rebate (HEAR) program provide significant opportunities for state energy offices (SEOs) to establish rebate programs that improve home efficiency.
We recognize that some SEOs managing this level of casework and/or implementing the eligibility verification required by these programs might necessitate some assistance. As such, Deloitte is proud to provide end-to-end support, from federal grants strategy to monitoring for impact as SEOs implement new home energy efficiency programs.
Deloitte’s collaborations set us apart by driving innovations through diverse expertise. One such example is through our work with the University of Colorado Boulder (CU Boulder) and the CU Boulder Climate Innovation Collaboratory (CIC). CU Boulder is a powerhouse of research and proven interdisciplinary approaches in climate sciences and innovative technology solutions. Deloitte and CU Boulder work together to design and implement data-driven approaches for addressing the climate crisis; building a more equitable, sustainable society; and fostering a more resilient environment for generations to come.
