Our own sustainability, climate, and equity commitments
We recognize our actions matter, which is why Deloitte has set 2030 emissions reduction commitments verified by the Science Based Targets initiative. By 2030, we are aiming to reduce our business travel emissions 50% per full-time employee from FY2019 levels and source 100% renewable energy for our buildings. And, Deloitte remains steadfast in its firm-wide commitment to elevate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). As shown by our recent DEI Transparency Report, we are making encouraging progress on creating a more diverse enterprise and talent experience.
Leading research and insights
Our research and resource centers produce data-driven insights and perspectives that add to our collective understanding and embolden organizational sustainability.
US Turning Point Report
Our research showed that insufficient climate action could cost the US economy $14.5 trillion over the next 50 years, ultimately devastating already struggling communities. But if the United States chooses to adopt an ambitious path toward decarbonization, it could see net economic gains up to $3 trillion by 2048.
Leading in a Low-Carbon Future
While a growing array of organizations are confronting climate change, many focus their efforts on internal operations. What’s needed is a more holistic system of systems approach that embraces equitable sustainability.
Transforming Food Systems with Farmers
This report is part of a broader two-year collaboration with the World Economic Forum’s 100 Million Farmers platform, which aims to support the transition toward food systems that are net-zero and nature-positive, and that increase farmer resilience.
The Equity Imperative
Many workers, shareholders, and other stakeholders increasingly demand that businesses take a firmer stand against inequities. Businesses can help lead the way toward equity, and Deloitte’s perspective can help.
