Why are SPACs generating intense investment and what’s the likelihood that their rapid growth is sustainable? Host Carrie Falkenhayn is joined by Sean Brennan, a Tax Partner with Deloitte’s Partnerships Solutions Group, and Joanne O’Brian, a Tax Partner who is leading Deloitte’s SPAC initiatives. Together, they’ll explore the significant rise in SPACs, how they operate, and what the prospects for their future growth may be.

In the next 12 to 18 months, there is something like 400 SPACs that are currently looking for targets. And with only so many high-quality targets available out there, I think there’s going to be fierce competition amongst these investors to find and make deals happen.
