Carrie Falkenhayn

Carrie is a Tax partner in the Chicago office of Deloitte Tax LLP, where she helps growing companies implement advantageous tax strategies. She serves clients in a variety of industries, including professional services, manufacturing, and consumer products. As a lead Tax partner, Carrie coordinates all Deloitte Tax services, including Federal, International, Multistate, and Global Employer Services, and is responsible for overall client satisfaction related to those services. In serving her clients, Carrie focuses on developing a strong understanding of the client’s business, building relationships, and bringing the right team to solve the client’s issues.

In addition to her client service responsibilities, Carrie serves as the leader of the Advantaged Client Program for Deloitte Tax and as the Global industry leader for Deloitte Global Tax & Legal. In these roles, she works with our leaders to bring the breadth of Deloitte’s tax services to the market while delivering insightful, integrated, digitally enabled tax solutions to the most important clients of Deloitte Tax. Carrie also serves as the Chief Tax Officer Program leader for Deloitte Tax LLP. Deloitte’s Chief Tax Officer Program helps rising and established tax leaders successfully take on new challenges and seize opportunities that change and uncertainty present.

Previously, Carrie served as Deloitte’s National Multistate practice leader and has served in a variety of leadership roles, including the Central Region Multistate practice leader, National Multistate Clients & Markets leader, Global Middle-Market Tax leader, and Global Private Client Services leader. In each of these roles, she focused on building a team of professionals focused on proactively addressing client issues and opportunities.
