Reese Blair

Reese is an audit partner in Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance practice and the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Leader within Deloitte’s Eastern region. He has more than 20 years of experience providing audit and related services to a broad spectrum of Investment Management organizations, including mutual funds, ETFs, broker-dealers, investment advisers, and alternative funds. He specializes in valuation, derivatives, and internal controls testing, including areas like staff development, resolving legal and regulatory compliance issues, data transfer and security, and overall audit engagement workflow management. He facilitates several industry-specific trainings each year for both clients as well as employees of the firm.

Reese’s loyalty to his work extends beyond the office into the community. He leads several community service threads throughout the year, always focusing on giving back. He currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Audit Committee for the National Association of Securities Professionals, serves on the PICPA Foundation board, and on the Corporate Advisory board of NABA. Reese is also the partner champion for Deloitte Greater Philadelphia’s focus on education, where he mentors many young people, including through the firm’s signature Deloitte Academy program.

Additionally, he was recognized externally by the Harlem YMCA with their Black Achiever in Industry Award and also by the Philadelphia Business Journal as one of the Delaware Valley’s 40 Under 40.
