Robert Rothenberg

Robert specializes in cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A), supply chain, financial products, foreign tax credit planning, and financing structures—roughly equally distributed between inbound and outbound. Robert has worked for an extended period in the Deloitte Tokyo office M&A practice and speaks, reads, and writes Japanese. He also served as an attorney advisor with two judges at the United States Tax Court.

Robert speaks frequently at regional tax conferences.

Robert holds a BA from Princeton University, master’s degree from Yale University, JD from Stanford Law School, and LLM in taxation from New York University School of Law, where he was graduate editor of Tax Law Review.
