2020 Deloitte Entrepreneur Summit presented by Deloitte Private
November 19, 2020
Join highly successful business owners, leading investor groups from around the world, senior executives from large corporate groups, industry specialists, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) professionals for this memorable networking event.
- New virtual format, same differentiated value
- One-on-one meetings between attending companies and relevant investor groups
- Panel discussions that address key issues currently impacting M&A activity and the capital markets
The focus: Networking and insights
This virtual one-day event offers privately-held companies the opportunity to engage in one-on-one meetings with more than 200 investor groups—including private equity firms, family offices, and sovereign wealth funds. These investors collectively focus on all industries and investment types, and, in aggregate, manage approximately $3 trillion.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the private equity alternative and receive specific insights from professional investors. Many companies view this event as a business development opportunity, given that attending investor groups own portfolio companies in similar industries. Organizations with no near-term plans to transact may also find The Entrepreneur Summit to be a valuable learning and networking experience.
Deloitte will collect detailed, post-conference feedback from the investor groups based on every meeting they attend and coordinate appropriate follow-up dialogue. All investor groups execute a non-disclosure agreement as part of the registration process that precludes them from contacting companies after the conference without a specific invitation to do so.
"Having decided to build on my understanding of the options presented by private equity groups, I attended Deloitte’s conference. I was incredibly impressed by the roster of firms with which I met and benefited significantly from hearing about different approaches companies can take to generate growth. Beyond receiving great feedback on our company’s strategy, I really enjoyed the discussions."
– Diane Butler, CEO, Butler Burger Group, LLC
