Reimagining the modern military family experience

At Deloitte, we believe that family readiness is military readiness. In addition to serving valued clients across the US Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs, Deloitte is committed to supporting the entire military family ecosystem by developing human-centered capabilities and solutions that enhance quality of life for the military, veterans, their families, caregivers, and survivors, from child development to spouse employment to casualty and memorial affairs. Deloitte understands both the moral imperative and national security value in supporting the military community, as well as the sacrifices that come with service.

Family readiness translates to military readiness

Prioritizing and improving quality of life for military families is an increasingly prominent subject for both the government and Deloitte. In order to maintain an all-volunteer force, Deloitte recognizes the need to deliver mission-forward solutions that enhance the military family experience. As the saying goes, the military recruits a Service member, but retains the entire family.

How we deliver impact

Award-winning military support

Deloitte’s commitment to recruiting and supporting members of the entire military community has been recognized with several recent awards:

  • MSEP Military Spouse Employment Partner: Deloitte is a Military Spouse Employment Partner (MSEP) with the Department of Defense Spouse Education and Career Opportunities (SECO) program, which helps connect military spouses to employers who are committed to recruiting, hiring, promoting, and retaining military spouses.
  • VIQTORY Military-Friendly and Military-Friendly Spouse Employer: Deloitte has multiple certifications as a Military Friendly Employer and Military Friendly Spouse Employer by VIQTORY, a veteran-owned business. This annual certification is based upon the benefits, programs, and development opportunities we offer to active-duty, retired, and veteran employees and their spouses.
  • Military Times Best for Vets Employers (2016–2019): For the past several years, Deloitte has been named a “Best for Vets” organization by Military Times due to our commitment to recruiting veterans and service members, company culture, policies, and reservist accommodations.
  • Lee Anderson Hiring Our Heroes Veteran and Military Spouse Employment Award (2018): In 2018, Deloitte was awarded the 8th Annual Lee Anderson Veteran and Military Spouse Employment Award by Hiring Our Heroes, a program of the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation. This award represents the highest annual honor an organization can receive in the field and honors overall excellence in hiring and retaining veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses.
