Professional growth for veterans by veterans

One of the key highlights of the event is the chance to work with former members of the armed forces who have made the leap from the military to the world of business. You will hear first-hand from current Deloitte professionals what it takes to make a successful transition from the military to a consulting profession and gain key insights into the obstacles they faced and how they overcame them.

Cole Moses, operations and strategy consultant, Deloitte Consulting LLP, and member of the ADVF planning committee stressed that ADVF was not intended to be an event to recruit veteran candidates, but rather a chance to share tangible skills and insights that student veterans can use to advance their careers.

“ADVF is a genuine, authentic program designed to help veterans transition from military to corporate life. It’s a way for veterans to explore the corporate world, and more specifically, the consulting industry,” said Cole. “Students attending ADVF are going to receive tangible skills that they can use in any profession, no matter where they choose to go after leaving their advanced degree program.”

The program is open to former and current service members enrolled in a full-time MBA or graduate program who have a keen interest in consulting and possess strong leadership and communication skills. Interested candidates are encouraged learn more and apply.
